Reporting into the Director of Event Services you will take a lead role in project managing of Event Services. This role functions as the strategic business leader of the property’s Event Services. Position supports the development and implementation of departmental strategies and ensures implementation of the brand service strategy and brand initiatives. The position supports the mission that the Event Services operation meets the brand’s target customer needs, ensures employee satisfaction, and focuses on growing revenues and maximizing the financial performance of the department. Responsibilities

Assist in supervising Event Services, ensuring accuracy of all communication, including proposals, contracts, Banquet Event Orders, event reports, and Delphi input. Finalize event requirements to maximize revenue, maintain clear communication across departments, and ensure accurate billing. Help oversee banquet event execution; inspect function spaces with relevant managers. Ensure client satisfaction at event start. Contribute to weekly event financial forecasts. Stay informed about hotel facilities and operational needs. Make timely decisions that balance client needs with hotel goals. Attend and participate in staff and client meetings such as operations briefings and pre-convention meetings. Support performance evaluations, mentorship, and staffing recommendations for the Events team. Qualifications

Luxury Event Services leadership experience required. Proven track record in upselling and savvy at closing the deal. Requires strong revenue and budget management skills. Benefits
