Overview
We are seeking a seasoned digital product manager to take on the responsibilities of Product Owner within an agile scrum team at UBS. As Product Owner, you will be the voice of the client, develop a clear product vision, strategy and roadmap aligned to broader strategic goals, establish and be accountable for Objectives and Key Results (OKRs), and ensure the product’s ongoing maintainability, security, performance and viability. Be the voice of the client within an agile scrum team Develop a clear product vision, strategy, and roadmap aligned to broader strategic goals Establish and be accountable for Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) for your product Build out and maintain the product backlog by writing epics and user stories Set the priority of work for the team Create new digital capabilities while ensuring maintainability, security, performance, and viability of the product Steer decisions based on client needs, feedback, and analytics Ensure compliance with risk, security policies, and architecture and technology standards Support audit requests and maintain up-to-date evidence of adherence/compliance Additional Product Management Responsibilities
Understand client needs through research, analytics, and direct communication with clients, advisors, service teams, and stakeholders Assess the market and competitive landscape Understand the end-to-end client journey and how the product solves pain points Ensure the product is tested with clients to validate readiness before launch Ensure a high-quality product experience through user acceptance testing (UAT), defect management, and timely resolution of production issues Lead certain agile ceremonies Foster strong working relationships with stakeholders and ensure alignment Develop launch plans and collaborate on communications, marketing, and training Coordinate reviews and approvals with legal, risk, compliance, and other control functions Assist with buy vs. build analysis and vendor management Track product-specific KPIs Salary and Benefits
Salary information: Weehawken: the salary range for this role is $105,000 to $130,000. The expected salary range(s) as of the posting date are based on factors including experience, qualifications, education, location and skill level. In our agile operating model, crews are aligned to products and services fulfilling client needs, and encompass multiple scrum teams called “pods.” You’ll be working in a pod within the Digital Client Platforms crew. The mission is to create a best-in-class multi-channel, digital experience for wealth management and banking clients, complementing the personalized relationship with UBS advisors. Your Expertise
Ideally 7+ years of digital product management experience, working on agile scrum teams as a product manager or product owner Proven success delivering complex, digital products to clients within the financial services industry (wealth management, banking, or brokerage) Translation of client needs into technology-driven solutions Your Qualities
