Director of Strategic Pricing & Contracts

Job Description
As the Director of Strategic Pricing & Contracts, you will lead the development, implementation, and management of pricing strategy and customer contract operations. This leadership role will support the company’s revenue growth and margin optimization goals by overseeing contract negotiation, pricing analytics, and cross-functional alignment with Sales, Marketing, Legal, and Finance.
Responsibilities
Design and execute enterprise-wide pricing strategies aligned with corporate goals and market dynamics
Lead contract development, negotiation, and management processes across all customer segments including hospitals, ASCs, IDNs, and GPOs
Oversee contract lifecycle management and ensure timely execution and compliance tracking
Partner with Legal and Compliance to ensure all pricing and contracting practices meet regulatory standards and internal policies
Manage Pricing Committee process to evaluate pricing proposals, new program rollouts, and deal structures
Develop and maintain pricing models to assess profitability, risk, and scenario planning
Monitor GPO and IDN relationships to ensure alignment with pricing terms, rebate programs, and administrative fee tracking
Drive continuous improvement in pricing governance, controls, and operational efficiencies
Provide strategic insights to executive leadership through pricing analytics, competitive benchmarking, trend reporting, promotion performance
Manage a team responsible for pricing operations and contract analytics
Develop streamlined processes and systems to make it easier for our customers to do business with Treace
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, economics or related field required; MBA or related advanced degree preferred
A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in pricing, contracts, or commercial operations within the medical device, pharmaceutical, or healthcare industry is required
Certified Pricing Professional (CPP) strongly preferred
