Baxter & Woodman has a fulfilling opportunity for an Environmental Engineer I in our Water/Wastewater department. We are seeking qualified applicants for an entry-level position in our Crystal Lake, Chicago, Naperville or Mokena, IL office. What your day-to-day will look like, what you will learn on the job

Detailed design of water and wastewater treatment plants, potable water and wastewater pipelines and pumping stations. Complete conceptual and preliminary designs using AutoCAD/Revit. Studies and design of wastewater system rehabilitation. Evaluation and study of water and wastewater treatment plants. Preparing potable water and wastewater master planning reports. Review and planning of water and wastewater infrastructure improvements and understanding of sustainable design elements as they relate to water and energy conservation and efficiency. Education

4-year B.S. degree in Civil Engineering, with emphasis in environmental engineering preferred. Minimum grade point average of 3.0/4.0. Must-haves

Ability to travel throughout Baxter & Woodman service area (own transportation). Ability to work in a team environment. Excellent technical writing skills. Strong written, verbal, computer and organizational skills. E.I.T (Engineer in Training) License preferred. Compensation

The pay range for this role is $74,000-$77,000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, and certifications. Benefits
