Overview
Our client is seeking a
Senior Data Architect
with a passion for Data Architecture and Data Management to support multiple business units globally. This is a full-time role with our Professional Services customer that maintains a Hybrid Work environment in Chicago (Loop). Travel : There will be U.S. travel involved to our client's office in the U.S. and for on-site vendor meetings. Travel frequency will vary, but initially at least one 2-3 day trip per month. Visa/Sponsorship : Unfortunately, we can\u2019t consider any candidates that currently, or will at any time in the future, require Visa transfer or sponsorship. We cannot work with 3rd parties or C2C candidates. Key Responsibilities
Develop data architecture strategies aligned with our company's goals. Lead the redesign of the current SQL-based data warehouse for scalability, performance, and cost-efficiency. Design, oversee, consolidate ETL development and processes using Azure Data Factory and Informatica IICS and Snowflake Collaborate with ERP and other teams to review and integrate Master Data Management (MDM) requirements. Maintain high standards of data quality, consistency, and security across various sources. Gather requirements and set data architecture standards in partnership with stakeholders Create and maintain comprehensive data models, flowcharts, and governance protocols Promote and implement best practices for data stewardship, integration, and warehousing Supervise and enhance data infrastructure for optimal performance and scalability Offer specialized knowledge on data organization, analytics, and cleansing Manage sensitive data with the highest level of discretion and adherence to ownership protocols Train users on new data components and data domain usage Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from an accredited institution in Computer Science Minimum 5 years of experience in data architecture, integration, and management Proven success in deploying Azure, Informatica IICS and Snowflake solutions Ability to translate business requirements into non-technical, lay terms Seniority level
