Base pay range $150,000.00/yr - $200,000.00/yr

We are a established well capitalized owner-developer with a diversified portfolio across the Southwest, including multifamily, retail, office, medical office, and recreational facilities. Our mission is to create lasting value through exceptional design, strategic investment, and disciplined asset management. We are seeking an experienced and strategic Director or Manager of Asset Management to lead and optimize performance across our expanding real estate portfolio.

Position Summary This person will be responsible for the strategic oversight and operational performance of a diverse portfolio of income-producing assets. This individual will collaborate with internal teams—including acquisitions, development, property management, and finance—as well as third-party partners to drive NOI growth, optimize asset value, and execute the company’s investment strategies.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute asset-level business plans, including leasing strategies, capital improvements, and financial performance targets.

Conduct hold/sell analyses and support disposition strategies based on market dynamics and portfolio goals.

Partner with the acquisitions team to provide underwriting assumptions and transition plans for new acquisitions.

Monitor financial performance (NOI, IRR, cash flow, etc.) and implement corrective actions where necessary.

Prepare and present quarterly asset performance reports to executive leadership and investors.

Work closely with accounting to ensure accurate reporting and forecasting across the portfolio.

Capital Planning & Project Management

Oversee capital improvement planning and execution, including budget creation, approvals, and ROI analysis.

Coordinate with construction and development teams to ensure smooth handoffs from development to stabilized operations.

Leasing & Tenant Relations

Collaborate with leasing brokers and internal leasing teams to optimize occupancy and rental rates.

Maintain relationships with key tenants and ensure high satisfaction and retention, especially in office and retail assets.

Stay abreast of local market conditions and trends affecting each asset type.

Identify potential risks and recommend proactive measures to mitigate exposure across the portfolio.

Lead a team of asset managers or analysts, providing mentorship, training, and professional development.

Foster strong collaboration with internal stakeholders and third-party service providers.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Finance, Business, or related field; MBA or Master’s degree preferred.

Minimum 10+ years of experience in real estate asset management, with a focus on mixed asset types (multifamily, office, retail, etc.).

Experience working for an owner/operator or owner/developer strongly preferred.

Strong financial acumen with expertise in real estate finance, valuation, and performance metrics.

Proven track record of value creation through proactive asset management.

Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.

Deep knowledge of the Greater Phoenix real estate market.

Proficient in Argus, Excel, and financial modeling.
