Coverage Specialist
to play a key role in developing the technical acumen of our Associates in our Risk Solutions Practice. The
Risk Coverage Specialist
will serve as a Property and Casualty insurance subject matter expert tasked with the design and facilitation of coverage training programs for internal Associates. The
Risk Coverage Specialist
will work alongside our Talent Development team to build training curriculum in line with the practice priorities and provide coverage training to
Lockton
Associates located primarily in Chicago and St. Louis with satellite offices in Cleveland, Memphis, Milwaukee, Nashville and Pittsburgh.
Responsibilities
Develop curriculum, training materials, resources, and interactive courses that focus on various lines of coverage
Lead live interactive group and one-on-one training to internal Associates on Property and Casualty lines of coverages to help them gain technical acumen in the various products
Create interactive courses with case studies, role-playing, and scenarios to reinforce knowledge comprehension
Tailor training programs to meet needs of Associates at all levels including introductory classes for those new to the industry to more advanced courses for more experienced Associates
Serve as a subject matter expert on various lines of coverage with an understanding of policy terms, conditions, endorsements, exclusions, etc.
Provide continuous learning opportunities including refresher courses as needed
Act as a resource for Associates who need additional assistance understanding coverages
Keep up to date with changes in the industry to ensure training content remains relevant
Evaluate and assess understanding with pre-course and post-course evaluations, quizzes, hands on exercises, and mock presentations
Monitor progress throughout training programs including tracking of completion, test results, and performance improvements
Provide recommendations to the Talent Development Team on the development of Lockton Associates
Collaborate with the Talent Development team to build cohesive training objectives
Foster a culture of learning and professional development within Lockton, encouraging Associates to expand their knowledge to successfully service our clients
Develop and maintain relationships with all Lockton offices to facilitate and provide directive learning programs

Compensation And Benefits Lockton
is committed to offering competitive pay and benefits and complies with all relevant state/local pay transparency laws. The entry base salary offered for this opportunity may vary, and is contingent upon candidate education, skills, abilities, essential competencies, experience, professional designations, unique qualifications, and geographic location.
Performance Bonus: This role may be eligible for an annual performance bonus, based upon the financial performance of the organization and the individual contributions of the Associate.

Qualifications
A minimum of 8-10 years experience in Property and Casualty insurance
Licensed in state of residency or ability to obtain immediately
CPCU, ARM or equivalent designation
Exemplary knowledge of Property and Casualty coverages including, but not limited to workers compensation, auto, general liability, umbrella, property, and business income
Strong understanding of insurance concepts and their application to clients’ needs
Advanced experience designing, conducting, and leading learning by way of classroom training, instructional design, curriculum development, and organizational development
Exceptionally strong knowledge of training, learning and development methodologies including but not limited to: e-learning, blended learning, learning communities, performance support, and web supported events
Strong oral, interpersonal and presentation-based communication skills with ability to speak in front of large or small audiences
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft products (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
Excellent analytical, critical thinking and problem analysis skills
Strong ability to manage and influence internal relationships at all levels including targeted stakeholder relationships
Ability to travel to other Lockton offices as required
Willingness to work outside of normal business
Legal right to work in the United States
