Salesforce Senior Developer . In this role, you will be supporting impactful projects that make a difference for our country. The Senior Salesforce Developer will design, develop, and implement customized solutions within the Salesforce platform using Lightning within a secured government agency. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with CI/CD/Copado; extensive understanding of HTML, CSS, XML, JavaScript, jQuery and Bootstrap. Experience in the development of Web Services (SOAP and REST) as well as experience working with JIRA, Confluence, and SharePoint. Experience with Agile methodologies is essential as well as the ability to present ideas to various levels/skillsets, both internally and externally. Responsibilities
This role involves programming using Apex, Salesforce Lightning components (AURA/LWC), JavaScript, and other development languages and tools once fully onboarded. Develop Lightning components by writing custom LWC in JavaScript with Aura framework and within the Salesforce Lightning Design System, maintaining fluency with Apex, SOQL, and SOSL. Support the Product Owner in gathering requirements by providing solution options and highlighting dependencies with the existing implementation. Develop and configure solutions using Salesforce functionality/Lightning Components (AURA and LWC), APEX, Visualforce Pages, SOQL, and SOSL, etc. Participate in the complete development process from requirement analysis to deployment. Review and provide feedback on technical implementations and documents and ensure Salesforce best practices and standards are followed. Collaborate with junior developers to perform code reviews and provide feedback. Create and maintain technical documentation including process documentation, naming and commenting conventions and Salesforce policies and procedures. Assist in identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving defects encountered during various stages of project delivery, including during deployment and production implementation. Mentor and provide guidance to development team members and may manage team members, monitor work assignments and manage performance. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree and 10 years of relevant hands-on experience. Valid Salesforce Platform Developer I Certification. Hands-on programming and custom coding experience with the Salesforce platform, requiring LWC and Apex. Experience with SLDS, Visualforec, Triggers, Batch classes, SOQL, SOSL and declarative tools such as Flows, Process Builder, and Lightning App Builder. 3+ years of hands-on experience implementing custom solutions on the Salesforce platform in Lightning with advanced knowledge of major Salesforce technologies, data modeling, integration, and data migration. Extensive understanding of Salesforce best practices, architecture, design, development, administration, and security model. Working knowledge of complex business systems integration, such as Copado, and object oriented design patterns. Extensive understanding of Salesforce Service Cloud and Experience Cloud (Communities) development and customization. Experience with SFDC specific IDE and version control configurations (GitHub, Bitbucket) for Salesforce development (VS Code, IntelliJ, SFDX). Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance, US Citizenship, and ability to obtain DOE L clearance. Provide technical assistance and end user troubleshooting for bug fixes, enhancements, and how-to assistance.
