Overview Domestic Violence Shelter programs offer a comprehensive range of services including counseling, advocacy, intervention, and support to meet the needs of victims and their families. The programs provide safe and confidential spaces for DV survivors and their children. Responsibilities
Learn and integrate trauma-informed, client-centered practices using an anti-oppressive lens into your work with team members that directly support clients. Manage and provide support/technical assistance to shelter team members that reflects these approaches.
Provide oversight, support, guidance and technical assistance on billings and utilization to DV Shelter Senior Directors and other DV Shelter staff as part of the DV Shelter Administration team.
Optimize shelter revenue cycle.
Provide oversight of shelter utilization to maximize shelter placement. Work with DV Facilities team to manage timeliness of unit turnover, maintenance and repairs and supply kit inventory.
Reviews historical and real-time data to make decisions about downsizing unit in order to maximize space availability.
Oversees shelter intake processes to ensure intake calls are being prioritized to maximize client safety.
Creates and implements efficient billing systems and processes to ensure timely and accurate invoicing, including working with HRA on Out of County.
Issues and lingering absence approvals.
Providing training and direct oversight/guidance of billing and utilization to shelter sites; including monthly training and meetings for Shelter Program Assistants.
Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.
Works closely with Research and Evaluation to analyze data to track utilization and identify areas for improvement and optimization.
Tracks key performance indicators related to utilization and makes adjustments to achieve desired outcomes.
Tracks payments and resolves billing discrepancies.
Monitoring the revenue projections for the programs.
Assisting with the development and implementation of new administrative policies, procedures and controls for the agency incorporating specific program needs.
Addresses HRA-related billing and utilization matters and communicates with stakeholders regarding billing issues in collaboration with shelter sites.
Assist with grants proposals, and grant reports.
Working closely with the program staff to develop new administrative tools that assist in program accountability.
Co-facilitates Program Assistant meetings, including training and provides technical assistance.
Working with staff on statistical and narrative reports.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred, or equivalent relevant experience, including 3+ years of financial, business operations and/or billing/collections experience.
Experience working in social services or non-profits a plus.
Successful track record in understanding, analyzing and presenting data.
Effective interpersonal and mediation skills, and an aptitude for analysis.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) essential.

Salary Range: $82,000 - $90,000
