Overview
Integration Architect role at GlobalSource IT focused on designing and governing enterprise integration solutions, with a primary focus on SAP integrations and the S/4 transformation. This role requires deep expertise in integration technologies and patterns, and involves collaborating with business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure reliable, secure, and scalable data exchange across systems. The architect serves as the subject matter expert for middleware architecture and helps align integration solutions with business and IT objectives.
Base pay range $180,000.00/yr - $205,000.00/yr

Responsibilities
Architect and deliver scalable integration solutions using SAP CPI, SAP Integration Suite, CI-DS, and Boomi, including API Management and event-driven patterns on SAP BTP.
Design and implement SAP-centric interfaces (S/4HANA, ECC, cloud apps) using IDoc, RFC, BAPI, OData, SOAP, and REST, supporting real-time, batch, and asynchronous flows.
Define and enforce enterprise integration standards, reusable patterns, and security practices across clouds, on-premises, and hybrid environments.
Collaborate with business stakeholders, SAP functional teams, developers, and vendors to gather requirements and deliver robust, supported integration solutions.
Oversee interface monitoring, error handling, and lifecycle governance, while contributing to platform roadmap, tool evaluations, and adoption strategies.
Support SAP transformation efforts by aligning integration architecture with Clean Core and cloud-first strategies and ensuring readiness for S/4HANA and hybrid deployments.
Provide technical leadership through mentoring, performance tuning, code/design reviews, and promotion of integration best practices.
Qualifications
Minimum 12-15 years of overall experience; Minimum 10 years of enterprise integration experience, including SAP, with a bachelor’s degree, or 14 years of experience with a high school diploma.
BS/BA Computer Science or equivalent; MS/MTech in Computer Science or related field preferred.
Demonstrated significant global project success.
Experience designing and implementing integrations with SAP systems (S/4HANA, ECC) and integration protocols/standards (IDoc, RFC, BAPI, OData, SOAP, REST).
Experience with SAP CPI, SAP Integration Suite, SAP CI-DS, and Boomi; ability to design secure, scalable, and resilient integrations across cloud, on-premises, and hybrid environments.
Strong collaboration with stakeholders, developers, and cross-functional teams; troubleshooting and performance tuning; knowledge of enterprise integration patterns.
Familiarity with SAP BTP services such as API Management, Event Mesh, and Extension Suite; API-led and event-driven architectures; Clean Core principles and SAP extensibility strategies (in-app and side-by-side); contributing to integration strategy and platform roadmap; strong technical leadership.
