The Manager B2B Channel Strategy leads the B2B Channel Strategy Team and provides strategic direction to meet the Company and Department goals. Theyll determine the prioritization of channel strategy objectives and ensure that multi-year channel plans are aligned both internally and externally, helping to grow Team Members through regular coaching, training, and feedback. The Manager B2B Channel Strategy is an organized collaborator ready to champion the future of Southwest Business.
Responsibilities
Lead day-to-day B2B Channel Strategy Team processes and prioritization; as well as provide career coaching to Employee
Oversee roadmaps and project planning to ensure channel efforts are aligned to support Department goals
Build and maintain strategic relationships with key Stakeholders at partner organizations (e.g. GDS, OBT), as well as industry organizations (e.g. ARC, ATPCO, GBTA, BTN)
Identify opportunities to drive more efficiency in Team operations, as well as spot trends in channel performance
Engage other Southwest Business Leaders and identify opportunities to improve on our Team Selling approach
Develop cross-functional relationships with Leaders from internal partner Teams (e.g. Marketing, Technology, General Counsel)
Analyze industry changes in technology, distribution, and settlement
May perform other job duties as directed by Employee's Leaders
Knowledge, Skills And Abilities
Knowledge of the travel and tourism industry, with an emphasis on supplier distribution
Knowledge of Company financial performance
Knowledge of PC skills, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Skilled in building and leading great Teams
Skilled in account/partner management strategy
Skilled at presenting to Sr. Leadership, both written and verbal
Ability to work cross-functionally with other Leaders from internal Teams (e.g. Technology, Marketing, General Counsel)
Ability to communicate complex details in a concise, effective manner
Ability to organize information and identify trends
Education
Required: High School Diploma or GED
Experience
Demonstrated experience in directly or indirectly leading team(s)
Fully functioning, broad knowledge in:
Marketing and Sales
Leading strategic partnerships, People, account portfolios, or projects
Financial analysis
Account/partner management
Licensing/Certification
N/A
Physical Abilities
Ability to perform work duties from [limited space work station/desk/office area] for extended periods of time
Ability to communicate and interact with others in the English language to meet the demands of the job
Ability to use a computer and other office productivity tools with sufficient speed and accuracy to meet the demands of the job
Other Qualifications
Must maintain a well-groomed appearance per Company appearance standards as described in established guidelines
Must be a U.S. citizen or have authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986
Must be at least 18 years of age
Must be able to comply with Company attendance standards as described in established guidelines
Pay & Benefits Competitive market salary from $122,200 per year to $135,800 per year* depending on qualifications and experience. For eligible Leadership and individual contributor roles, additional bonus opportunities are available and awarded at the discretion of the company.
