Overview
Sodexo Live! is seeking a General Manager for a prestigious private airport lounge at Hartsfield–Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL). Our airport lounges are dedicated spaces for passengers to relax and rejuvenate while awaiting their next adventure. This lounge leader will provide integral food and beverage management support within the Delta ATL lounge portfolio. Sodexo Live! provides hospitality services to airport lounges, stadiums, arenas, convention and conference centers, zoos, museums, and more. Working at one of these locations is exciting and allows you to be part of creating memorable experiences for people. SodexoMagic is the joint venture between Magic Johnson Enterprises and Sodexo, delivering food, facilities management and integrated services to clients and communities. What You'll Do
Have oversight of daily food operations and deliver a high-quality product.
A chieve company and client financial targets and goals.
Develop and maintain client and customer relationships.
Motivate, coach, mentor and develop frontline (hourly) staff.
Ensure Sodexo standards are met, including compliance with company food and physical safety programs.
Fully versed in Profit and Loss, inventory and fiscal responsibilities of operating a stand-alone business.
What You Bring
Have a work history demonstrating strong leadership skills and the ability to work collaboratively with all levels of the organization.
Proven food and beverage management experience within hotels, restaurants or other upscale dining venues.
Ability to direct and lead large teams.
Possess the ability to manage multiple priorities, demonstrate professional communication skills, and exhibit a passion for a high level of customer service.
Exhibit flexibility to take on additional responsibilities as needed.
Demonstrate working knowledge of automated food inventory, ordering, production and management systems, as well as menu graphics programs.
Experience in financials, preparation and oversight.
Minimum Qualifications
Minimum Education Requirement - Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
Minimum Management Experience – 5 Years
Minimum Functional Experience – 5 years
