Overview
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team. This individual will be responsible for converting requirements and specifications into functional designs with limited guidance, including creating block diagrams and schematics. The ideal candidate will have expertise in SoC/DDR design, memory devices, and high-speed design protocols such as DSI, CSI, I2C, SPI, HDMI, USB, Ethernet, and DisplayPort (DP).
Responsibilities
Independently convert requirements and specifications into functional designs (block diagram, schematic).
Design and implement complex EE systems, including multilayer PCBs.
Expertise in SoC/DDR design, memory devices, and high-speed protocols (DSI, CSI, I2C, SPI, HDMI, USB, Ethernet, DP).
Utilize ECAD design tools like OrCAD Capture and Cadence Allegro for schematic capture and layout.
Perform failure analysis, debugging, and root cause identification, and implement corrective actions as needed.
This position is based onsite in Sunnyvale and requires a proactive and self-sufficient engineer capable of managing complex tasks independently.
Qualifications
8-10 years of experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on system design and high-speed digital circuit design.
Hands-on experience with ECAD tools (OrCAD Capture, Cadence Allegro) for schematic and PCB layout.
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to drive failure analysis and implement corrective actions.
