Overview
As a
QA/Test Engineer,
you will work with our growing DevSecOps & Salesforce practices delivering quality assurance services to support application, cloud, and data systems development. We are looking for candidates with a minimum of 5 years of experience in quality assurance and test automation practices in an Agile/DevSecOps work environment. Contributions
Responsibilities include: Meet with the product design team to determine testing parameters Write test plans, create test cases, test procedures, bug reports, and final QA reports for products Manage test data architecture with the Tech Lead Troubleshoot errors and streamline test procedures Test and examine code written by others and analyze results, including three or more of the following: Data validation testing Functional testing Performance and load testing Usability testing Accessibility (508) testing Establish automated testing tools and infrastructure for test automation Provide validation testing of different system and data sets for Salesforce Understand stakeholder needs and communicate this to developers Improve development, testing, deployment, and release processes Ensure systems are safe and secure against cybersecurity threats Work with developers and engineers to ensure development follows established processes and works as intended Document the current environment, perform a gap analysis, and produce artifacts with options and recommendations Collaborate with teams to improve DevSecOps processes and tools Engineer and implement solutions, providing recommendations for continuous improvement Present regular status updates and cross-train team members Qualifications
Required: Must maintain a U.S. Government security clearance Bachelor's Degree or equivalent At least 5 years of related experience in software/IT/cloud consulting Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Experience with documenting environment states, performing gap analyses, and producing artifacts with options and recommendations Preferred: Certifications such as CAST, ISTQB, CMST, or DHS TTv5 Experience in DevSecOps within an Agile environment Experience with performance and load testing Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes Experience with test automation tools like Selenium, Appium, SoapUI, RestAssured, Postman Integrating test automation into CI/CD pipelines Current or previous DHS CBP Clearance is preferred About
