Overview
The Senior Marketing Manager role at HGC Construction serves as the key connector between strategic vision and day-to-day execution. Working closely with the Brand Marketing Director, this role translates long-term strategy into actionable campaigns and initiatives. They will oversee and mentor members of the marketing team—providing guidance, structure, and creative direction—while also delivering high-impact work. Key Responsibilities
Partner with the Brand Marketing Director to develop and deliver the annual marketing plan. Turn company strategy into actionable campaigns, content, and communications. Balance oversight with hands-on involvement to ensure quality and timeliness. Brand & Content Management
Oversee creation of content for websites, social media, press releases, thought leadership, and other materials. Manage external communications to strengthen our reputation and visibility in target markets. Ensure brand voice and messaging are consistent across all platforms and companies. Lead development of visual assets such as collateral, presentations, advertisements, project signage, and event branding. Maintain Huseman Group’s brand identity and visual standards, collaborating with design partners when needed. Public Relations
Develop and manage Huseman Group’s PR plan, including media outreach and press releases. Build and maintain relationships with trade publications and business media. Coordinate speaking opportunities, award submissions, and event promotion. Market Insights & Reporting
Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and client insights to guide messaging and positioning. Track performance metrics and adjust strategies to maximize ROI. Project & Team Management
Supervise and mentor team members. Prioritize workload, delegate tasks, and manage timelines across multiple business units. Manage relationships with agencies, consultants, and vendors. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field. 7–10 years of progressive marketing experience, ideally in construction, architecture, engineering, or professional services. Strong track record leading successful campaigns and pursuit strategies. Excellent writing, editing, and presentation skills; ability to simplify technical information. Proficiency in Adobe Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) and Microsoft Office. Proven leadership experience managing direct reports. Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Job Details
