$120,000.00/yr - $150,000.00/yr Responsibilities
Manage the monthly close process and ensure accurate financials. Record fund-level expenses like management and incentive fees. Review financial statements and monthly reports for accuracy. Forecast fund performance and liquidity to support planning. Handle investor activities like capital calls, distributions, and reporting. Oversee transfer agent tasks and resolve investor issues. Ensure BDCs stay compliant with tax and regulatory requirements. Prepare board materials and support financial audits. Coach junior team members and improve accounting processes. Work on special projects like system upgrades and regulatory filings. Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. 7-10 years of experience in fund accounting, preferably with BDCs, private equity, or hedge funds. CPA preferred. Experience with GAAP financial statements and SEC filings. Strong Excel skills; knowledge of tools like PowerBI, Workday, or Wall Street Office is a plus.
