Overview East West Bank is seeking a

Portfolio Manager

for Entertainment Lending. Primary function will be to assist in financial analysis and underwriting as well as loan documentation review. Perform analysis of financial statements and cash flow projections of Entertainment clients. Research distributors and provide distributor summaries. Assist in loan monitoring and loan operations such as borrowing base review, advance requests, loan tracking, etc.

Responsibilities

Manages and oversees loan/deposit portfolio for Relationship Managers (RMs)

Cross-sell deposit, trade, treasury management, foreign exchange, private banking, asset management, and other services to our existing client base as well as prospects

Work with team in reviewing existing credits

Perform other administrative duties required for the maintenance of a portfolio of clients

Ensure the portfolio administration and risk management of each client relationship is in compliance with established EWB credit policy, procedure and business strategy as well as commercial and regulatory guidelines

As appropriate to experience, co-manage relationships by analyzing financial data to determine the merits of specific loan requests, and recommend structure as well as manage the client relationship

Responsible for credit risk and quality of the portfolio

Assist with due diligence/analysis on new client relationships and opportunity memos as appropriate

Partner with the RMs as the point of contact for the client; acting as a liaison to the credit department, the commercial support staff and other internal business partners

May provide advice and counsel to clients regarding trends and conditions of the business environment, capital markets and general banking trends

Monitor loan repayment activities and financial condition of borrowing clients and take necessary action to collect past due accounts and ongoing repayment ability of all other accounts

May assume overall responsibility for the credit quality of the loan portfolio

Perform other duties and special projects as needed

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or combination of education and directly related experience

Experience in the Entertainment Industry with general knowledge of entertainment finance is preferred

Minimum of 5 yrs of underwriting experience with a solid credit and accounting background

Must have a working knowledge of Excel & Word

Demonstrates strong underwriting and projection skills

Strong understanding of credit policy and procedures and is able to accurately risk-rate loans/credits, evaluates both cash-flow and collateral-based loans/credits

Thrive for success and able to work under minimum supervision

Compensation The base pay range for this position is USD $90,000.00/Yr. - USD $160,000.00/Yr. Exact offers will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
