Manufacturing Systems Engineer II at FUJIFILM Dimatix, Inc. defines, develops and implements MES solutions based on technical requirements. Salary range for position: $85,000 - $105,000, commensurate with experience. Essential Job Functions
MES analyst providing solutions and functionality in Eyelit to meet user requirements. Define functional requirements through user interviews, documentation analysis, and understanding of shop floor workflow and maintainability objectives. Contribute to the testing and implementation of MES solutions including SPC and equipment connect. Responsible for technical deliverables including updates to flows, reporting improvements, and quality systems. Responsible for documenting, testing and proving such changes. Work with others to identify and implement MES solutions and upgrades to existing systems to improve manufacturing efficiency, equipment maintainability and quality control. Participate in an enterprise project to integrate MES and ERP (SAP). Perform acceptance testing of new software and assure smooth rollout to manufacturing of changes. Assure reliable 24/7 operation of integrated manufacturing systems. Work with MES supplier to address any problems quickly, minimizing any manufacturing impacts. Supervisory Responsibilities
None Qualifications
REQUIRED: Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent years of experience, with 2+ years of related experience. Experience and solid knowledge with Eyelit MES system, including SPC module. Project management skills (project plan development and tracking, issue resolution, risk mitigation, metrics development and tracking). SQL development capability. Outstanding communication and documentation skills. Proficiency in MS Office products, especially advanced Excel. Teamwork and excellent communication and cooperative attitude, with the ability to work both in a team and independently. DESIRED: MES/ERP integration experience. Physical Demands
Must have ability to work in all areas and perform all functions associated with manufacturing processes. Long periods of viewing data on a computer screen and/or on paper. Must have manual dexterity to operate a computer keyboard and standard office equipment. Work Environment
Normal office environment. May potentially handle hazardous waste in accordance with the safe work practices defined in Hazardous Communication and Hazardous Waste training programs. Initial training is required upon hiring status and every 3 years thereafter. Employees handling hazardous waste will ensure that waste containers are properly labeled and dated, closed after transferring waste, and report any incidents to a supervisor. Other
