CFO
to join its executive leadership team during an exciting phase of growth. Over the last decade, our client has expanded its reach throughout the Midwest and Texas to offer tailored staffing solutions across a wide range of roles, from light industrial and manufacturing to administrative and professional positions.
This is a unique opportunity for a finance leader to shape strategy, drive operational excellence, and lead transformative M&A initiatives as the company accelerates its expansion through strategic acquisitions. The
CFO
will oversee a high-performing finance and accounting team while partnering closely with leadership to achieve aggressive growth objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the company’s financial strategy, planning, and forecasting in alignment with growth and acquisition goals.
Drive all M&A activity, including target evaluation, due diligence, deal structuring, negotiations, and post-acquisition integration.
Oversee accounting, AP/AR, payroll, and month-end/year-end close, ensuring compliance with GAAP and internal controls.
Manage multi-state payroll and billing operations, optimizing processes for efficiency and accuracy.
Maintain strong banking relationships, manage cash flow, and oversee financing needs.
Lead risk management and compliance initiatives, including Workers’ Compensation and insurance programs.
Optimize financial systems and leverage technology to improve reporting, automation, and decision-making.
Mentor and develop a high-performing finance team, fostering collaboration and accountability.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or Master’s preferred).
8+ years of progressive finance leadership, ideally in staffing, professional services, or other fast-paced, growth-oriented industries.
Proven experience in M&A, including leading due diligence and integration.
Expertise in GAAP, multi-state payroll, and financial reporting.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
