The Talent Acquisition Sourcer collaborates with Talent Acquisition Partners and hiring managers to build effective sourcing pipelines, focusing on attracting top talent to fill positions efficiently. This role utilizes platforms like ZipRecruiter, LinkedIn, Handshake, and the internal database to engage both active and passive candidates, with a focus on markets with low application volume. The Sourcer generates 12 phone interviews per week, presents qualified candidates to hiring managers, and participates in regular strategy meetings. Additionally, the role involves developing creative sourcing strategies tailored to specific candidate pools, maintaining candidate data in the ATS, and supporting other Talent Acquisition initiatives as needed.
Primary Responsibilities
Work alongside the Talent Acquisition Partners, develop key relationships with hiring managers and create sourcing pipelines of talent to fill all openings in a timely and cost-efficient manner
Utilize ZipRecruiter, LinkedIn, Handshake, and our internal database to generate candidates from passive outreach to supplement the candidates generated through applications
Generate 12 phone interviews per week from sourced talent, focusing on the needs in markets with low application volume
Present screened and qualified candidates to the hiring managers and follow up as needed throughout the interview process
Participate in regular meetings with TA Partners and hiring managers to go over recruiting strategies for open positions
Stay current on industry trends, new sourcing tools, and best practices to ensure effective candidate sourcing
Develop creative sourcing strategies customized to specific pools of candidates (e.g., recent college grads vs. open positions)
Be passionate about maintaining excellent relationships with all candidates and provide a best-in-class experience during the recruitment and onboarding process
Maintain accurate candidate data within the ATS and ensure timely follow-ups
Assist with other Talent Acquisition Projects and Initiatives as needed
Competencies / Critical Skills
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Familiarity with social media, especially Facebook and LinkedIn
Solid verbal and written communication skills
Friendly, proactive, self-motivated team player
Detailed, organized, and adaptable
Ability to manage diverse personalities, prioritize workloads, and hold yourself accountable
Out of the box thinker willing to try new ideas, challenge the norms, and forward thinking
Preferred Experience
4 Year College Degree or Equivalent Experience
1-2 years of sourcing or recruiting experience in a fast-paced environment or equivalent experience
Passionate about providing the highest level of candidate experience and building strong and meaningful relationships
Strong communication skills (written and verbal) with the ability to interact with all levels of management
Attention to detail with prior experience successfully managing large amounts of confidential, time sensitive documents
Strong knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook
