Overview Hyatt Centric Atlanta Buckhead and Hyatt Centric Midtown Atlanta are seeking a Finance leader with a growth mindset to support the Director of Finance in overseeing day-to-day operations and contributing to strategic financial planning to deliver on key priorities for all stakeholders and business objectives. Responsibilities

Prepare and review all journal entries, month-end reports, and reconciliations.

Review preliminary financial statements with the Director of Finance.

Participate in monthly financial reviews and support the Director of Finance with the presentation of these reports.

Supervise Finance and Procurement staff and the Information Technology functions of the hotel, including coaching and counseling associates to reflect Hyatt service standards and procedures, interviewing, training, and evaluating performance of staff.

Manage and oversee hotel on- and off-site accounting functions to ensure proper fiscal management, timely and accurate reporting, and analysis for the hotel; this includes hotel financial planning, budgeting, accounting, and cash management.

Systems administration, general ledger account reconciliations, budget preparations, inventories, monthly closings, and full P&L responsibility.

Assist with managing and ensuring SOX compliance; monitor internal controls and implement corrective measures as needed.

Manage the audit process; participate in and respond to auditor requests to ensure total hotel compliance.

Help prepare all monthly and annual financial statements; investigate, review and analyze variance explanations with department staff; proactively manage troubleshooting for relevant cost controls and revenue enhancements.

Support the Director of Finance with special reporting and ad hoc analysis.

Qualifications

2 years or more of finance career progression; preferred experience in hospitality, retail, or related industry.

Degree in Accounting, Finance, Hospitality, Business or related field preferred.

Experience supervising or directing staff members.

Prior experience with POS systems (Simphony, Infrasys), PMS (Opera), Oracle, ADP/Enterprise, Kronos preferred.

Demonstrated ability to effectively interact with people of diverse cultural, disability, and ethnic backgrounds.

Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills in English.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
