This Corporate Counsel position presents a unique opportunity to be a part of our talented, connected, and innovative legal team. We are looking to add a superstar who can help drive our contracting processes and solve a variety of legal and business challenges within a fast-moving and collaborative environment.

What You\'ll Do

Own and negotiate commercial agreements, including software subscription agreements, data processing agreements, data security agreements, SOWs and NDAs

Lead partnership legal support, including reviewing and negotiating partnership agreements and providing operational support to our partner and professional services teams

Partner with revenue operations to develop and implement scalable order processes

Assist with the implementation of strategic cross-functional programs related to privacy, security, and AI frameworks

Create and execute on contracting strategies that optimize for our business objectives and decrease time to value

Help build and maintain contracting playbooks, contract templates and clause libraries, legal process wikis, and other tools to help scale the legal function

Drive projects to leverage AI to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of commercial legal support, along with other process improvement initiatives

Advise business partners on a range of commercial legal issues and risks

Help ensure Airtable’s commercial relationships comply with applicable laws and regulations

Create sales enablement materials and deliver training to help educate internal business partners

Collaborate with teams across Airtable, including sales, revenue operations, product, finance, and procurement

Who You Are

You have a JD or foreign equivalent with membership in at least one state bar

You have at least 5 years’ experience as a practicing attorney, including in-house experience with a SaaS or other technology company

You love being a commercial lawyer and working with sales and other cross-functional teams

You have strong experience with technology agreements and the ability to manage deals independently from intake to close

You're excited about a growth opportunity that combines deal ownership with exposure to strategic initiatives and mentorship

You bring project management and organizational skills with a track record of building scalable processes and driving operational improvements

You are curious about AI and its potential to transform legal practice, with experience experimenting with AI technologies, and developing AI-powered workflows to solve legal challenges

You're an effective and thoughtful communicator who can draft clear, precise documents and translate complex legal concepts into a digestible format for business partners

You’re collaborative, flexible, resourceful, and solution-oriented. You are excited to shape and strengthen Airtable’s legal function by building scalable processes and repeatable frameworks. You’re both comfortable admitting you don’t have the answer, and confident in your ability to go find it

You can execute, prioritize, and stay focused in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment

You have high integrity and excellent judgment, with the ability to be both strategic and detail-oriented

You’re skilled at building authentic relationships with all kinds of people across many functional teams

Compensation awarded to successful candidates will vary based on their work location, relevant skills, and experience. Our total compensation package also includes the opportunity to receive benefits, restricted stock units, and may include incentive compensation. For work locations in the San Francisco Bay Area, Seattle, New York City, and Los Angeles, the base salary range for this role is: $197,400 - $243,600 USD

For all other work locations (including remote), the base salary range for this role is: $177,500 - $219,400 USD
