Travel CT Technologist - CT Scan

American Traveler is seeking a CT/X-ray Technologist for a day shift position, requiring active ARRT certification in CT and Radiology as well as BLS.Job Details•Diagnostic imaging position utilizing both CT and general radiology modalities,•Work setting involves diagnostic imaging for varied patient populations,•Day shift schedule,•May be required to assist or rotate to other imaging modalities within the scope of licensure,•On-call, holiday, and weekend coverage may be required,Job Requirements•Active ARRT registration in Radiology (R) and Computed Tomography (CT),•Current BLS certification or must be obtained within 90 days of hire,•Minimum of 2 years experience as a Technologist in relevant modalities preferred,•Ability to legally work in the United States,•Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, and meet employee health requirements,•General knowledge of Microsoft Office and ability to work with PACS and RIS/HIS systems,•License required if applicable,Additional Information•Responsible for performing high quality diagnostic and CT imaging procedures,•Adheres to ALARA standards and practices radiation safety, including protecting female patients from radiation,•Performs exams based on established imaging protocols or under Radiologist direction,•Must be a positive and supportive team member with effective communication skills,•Expected to assist with clerical duties, patient transport, equipment troubleshooting, and inventory management,•Cross-training into other modalities such as MRI, DEXA, and mammography encouraged,•Compliance with infection control, safety, and regulatory standards is required,•Professional attire must follow departmental dress code,],•hash,:•3455330418902879800,
