We are seeking an advanced practitioner to become a part of our team and work in our Chula Vista, CA clinic. You will focus on providing high-quality patient care. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred. Experience in Geriatrics, Neurology, and/or adjacent fields preferred. Responsibilities
In collaborative practice with the clinic neurologists and NPs, the Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant is responsible for providing independent clinical assessment and patient care management services for neurological patients. The NP/PA must be self-directed and function with minimal direct supervision. The NP/PA functions in an interdependent role by implementing the appropriate Standardized Procedures (SPs). The NP/PA will provide and coordinate the care of patients, provide patient/family education, and promote safe continuity of care. The NP also participates in clinical meetings, provides education and support, as well as makes appropriate referrals. Document services rendered. Job Qualifications
California NP or PA license required DEA Previous experience in neurology preferred Ability to build rapport with patients Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong leadership qualities Bilingual English/Spanish preferred Benefits
