full-time Urgent Care Veterinarian (DVM)
to join their collaborative and compassionate team. This
new opportunity
is ideal for a veterinarian who enjoys urgent care medicine without the strain of overnight ER shifts or general wellness responsibilities. With a
modern, Fear Free Certified facility , highly skilled support staff, and
truly flexible scheduling , this role offers the perfect balance of meaningful work and quality of life. Position Highlights
Urgent care only
– no wellness appointments or abdominal surgeries
No overnight shifts or critical ER cases
New, state-of-the-art facility
equipped with advanced diagnostics
Fear Free & Feline Friendly Certified
Flexible shifts, including
swing and second shift options
Technician-driven model allows you to focus on doctor work
Located in scenic
Oro Valley , just outside of Tucson, with easy access to desert trails and city amenities
Key Responsibilities
Diagnose and treat urgent, non-life-threatening conditions
Perform diagnostics and treatments with efficiency and accuracy
Communicate clearly with pet owners about diagnoses and care plans
Maintain detailed digital medical records in a
cloud-based EMR system
Partner with clinical and support teams to ensure optimal patient care
Support staff development through the
LevelUp technician training program
Qualifications
DVM/VMD degree (or completion of ECFVG or PAVE program)
Licensed (or able to obtain license) to practice veterinary medicine in
Arizona
1–3 years of experience in urgent care or general practice preferred (new grads welcome)
Strong clinical, diagnostic, and communication skills
Compassionate, collaborative, and team-minded
Ideal Candidate
