IOS DEVELOPER

Title: IOS Developer (APPLICATION DEVELOPER) Target End Date: possibly to hire Job Location: NYC Requirements: App Development for Android and iOS (prefers both, but would be open to just iOS) Business Reason: Additional iOS developers needed for influx of projects Start Date: ASAP All candidates must have app and code samples General Experience: Education: - BS in Computer Science or equivalent. - 3+ years experience in software development. - Experience with design and implementation of complex business applications. - Experience working in a team environment. - Able to work in a rapid and agile development environment with frequent deliveries and minimum supervision. Technical Skills: - Mastery of Objective-C, standard C 99. - Working knowledge of other programming languages, such as C++, Java, C#. - Experience with Android programming a plus. - Proficiency in software development design patterns and methodologies. - Fluency with Object-Oriented and MVC programming models. - Fluency with multi-threaded programming styles and approaches. - An understanding of relational database schema design, queries, and optimization techniques. - Knowledge of SQL. Mobile/iOS Development Skills: - Experience with a variety of mobile platforms (iOS, Android, WP7) a plus. - Proficiency in iPhone and iPad programming. - Fundamental understanding of (pre-ARC) iOS memory management. - Fundamental understanding of (pre-ARC) iOS memory management. - Experience with Core Text, XML parsing (libxml). - Familiarity with mobile advertising providers such as iAds, AdMob, AdMarvel. - Experience with XCode, source control (Subversion). - Reader of leading developer blogs and books to stay up to date. - Hands-on knowledge of new iOS 4+ features (blocks, multitasking). - At least one published app in the iTunes App Store. #J-18808-Ljbffr
