Travel Duties include, but are not limited to: assessment of health history, addressing physician orders, in-office procedures, patient & family education, chemotherapy administration, cancer symptom management, patient monitoring through frequent visits on their physical state, as well as their emotional well-being, acts as the primary conduit of communication with patients, often relaying patient information and feedback to physicians, providing direct nursing care, including triage of patient care needs. The oncology registered nurse applies clinical knowledge, judgment, and decision-making skills to analyze and act on patient care issues, and additional duties assigned by Cancer Care Director or Physician Senior Executive.
