Robb & Stucky Furniture and Interiors is seeking a creative and talented
Interior Designer
for our Sarasota showroom. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conceptualizing and creating visually stunning and functional interior design while developing a solid client base and pipeline working with customers in our beautiful showrooms. The ideal candidate should have a strong eye for detail and a firm understanding of the principles of design, color, and texture, combined with a professional sales background. The candidate is responsible for processing sales transactions, returns, and special orders, ensuring all documentation is accurate and complete. The Interior Designer should be a team player who can provide direction and mentorship to design assistants and interact seamlessly with Management, Customer Service, and Office Support staff. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES Work one-on-one with customers visiting our well-appointed retail showrooms. Prepare design presentations on a project basis, structured or unstructured, using visual media including fabric, finish, photos, and floor plans, either in-house or digitally. Provide accurate measurements to our CAD team for presentations, utilizing room planner programs or CAD assistance on studio presentations to clients. Handle sales functions efficiently, including processing transactions and maintaining records. Establish and maintain good interpersonal relations with clients. Project a positive company image to the public. JOB REQUIREMENTS Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or 2 to 4 years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience in high-end furniture sales. ASID certification is preferred. Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail. Ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively. Excellent communication and administrative skills. Experience with CAD and moderate proficiency in Microsoft Office. Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record and the ability to provide personal transportation for in-home appointments. Reliable transportation with proof of minimum required car insurance is necessary. Exceptional customer service skills. Solid math skills. BENEFITS:
