We are excited to announce a fantastic opportunity for aLean Director Extended Value Streams and Kaizen within ourGlobal Supply Chain Performance team. This role is pivotal in shaping and executing Schneider Electric’s continuous improvement strategy across our global network of plants and distribution centers. If you are passionate about lean principles, value stream transformation, and driving radical performance improvements, this position is perfect for you!

Travel requirements for this role up to 25% within NAM.

What will you do?

  • Lead Strategic Direction:

    • Define and drive the vision for lean extended value streams globally.
    • Engage business leaders to realize end-to-end lean value streams.
    • Develop and deploy global standards for Value Stream Mapping (VSM) and Extended Value Stream Mapping (EVSM).
  • Execute Value Stream Mapping and Kaizen Initiatives:

    • Build and manage a global program for VSM and EVSM deployment.
    • Ensure accurate application of mapping techniques to define current and future states.
    • Oversee a global kaizen portfolio, maintaining the highest standards based on Shingijutsu methodology.
  • Inspire and Build Community:

    • Coach and mentor lean experts and business leaders.
    • Foster a culture of continuous improvement through hands-on learning and experimentation.
    • Promote kaizen behaviors that prioritize progress, creativity, and practical solutions.
  • Monitor and Measure Performance:

    • Track effectiveness of VSM and kaizen initiatives at all levels.
    • Focus on key metrics: Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost (inventory, productivity).

You will report directly to theGlobal Supply Chain Performance VP .

What qualifications will make you successful for this role?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Industrial/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or MBA.
  • 15+ years of experience in manufacturing, supply chain, or related fields.
  • Proven hands-on mastery of lean principles and performance improvement.
  • Experience in both operational leadership and lean expert roles.
  • Global exposure across multiple products, processes, and companies.
  • Strong program and portfolio management skills.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and influence capabilities.
  • Analytical, clear-thinking, and outcome-oriented mindset.
  • Proficiency in digital tools and fluent in English (additional languages a plus).
