Responsibilities
- Working collaboratively as part of a team in a high learning environment, the Senior Manager assists in the preparation and review of consolidated tax provision on a real time basis and with various special projects.
- This position will specifically be involved in the process dedicated to GAAP and NON-GAAP reporting of income taxes for analyzing and assisting with the preparation of the tax provision for the quarterly and annual interim reporting periods.
- Calculating an annual forecasted effective tax rate.
- Reconciling current and deferred tax accounts.
- Documenting FIN48 positions.
- Assisting in the preparation of the quarterly tax rates.
- Documenting quarterly tax provision processes and coordinating SOX404 requirements for tax provision, including performing SOX404 testing of tax functions.
- Assisting with return to provision differences, and preparing quarterly and year-end tax provision entries and GAAP reporting requirements for SEC disclosures.
- Participating in the process of US GAAP reporting for income taxes for our foreign subsidiaries.
- Tracking of the tax aspects of FAS 123R and preparing quarterly and year-end entries.
- Assist with the analysis, documentation and implementation of certain special projects.
- This is a high visible position with direct contact with management and business leaders.
- The Senior Manager is also expected to work collaboratively with other members of the Tax Department to provide internal support.
Qualifications
- Will have to possess or be able to develop working knowledge of SAP and Company’s ONESOURCE Income Tax Provision tool -TaxStream and other financial reporting tools to gather appropriate financial data. Desirable to also have working knowledge of CorpTax.
- Strong database and desktop application ability (preferably SAP and MS Office).
- Self-motivated with good project management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
- Strong analytical thinking, strong writing skills.
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment with excellent prioritization and organizational skills.
- Detail oriented.
- Bachelor degree in Accounting for Finance or equivalent in experience.
- Minimum of 9-10 years of tax experience in public accounting and/or with a corporate tax department.
- FAS 109 & FIN48 experience.
- Certified Public Accountant.
