We are currently seeking a Partner/Sr. Attorney-Taxation & Estates. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in managing complex tax issues, estate planning, and wealth management. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic, highly collaborative environment where you will be able to utilize your expertise in audits, complex valuation, and federal laws. This position requires a minimum of 10+ years of experience.
Responsibilities

• Provide expert advice on complex tax matters, estate planning, and wealth management to a diverse client base.
• Manage and lead audits, ensuring compliance with federal laws and regulations.
• Conduct complex valuations and provide strategic advice to clients on wealth preservation and growth.
• Develop and implement tax strategies to minimize tax liabilities and maximize client wealth.
• Represent clients in tax disputes and litigation cases.
• Stay updated with the latest tax laws and regulations and advise clients accordingly.
• Collaborate with other legal professionals to provide comprehensive legal services to clients.
• Train and mentor junior staff members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
• Maintain high standards of professional conduct and ethics.
  

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the New York State Bar.
• Minimum of 10+ years of experience in taxation, estate planning, and wealth management.
• Proven experience in conducting audits and complex valuations.
• In-depth knowledge of federal tax laws and regulations.
• Exceptional negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• High level of professional integrity and confidentiality.
