Overview
Job Description summary: Operate all equipment, stock ingredients from delivery area storage, work area, and walk-in cooler; prepare product; receive and process telephone orders; take inventory and complete associated paperwork; and clean equipment and the facility daily.

- Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
Work Conditions
- Exposure to varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions when removing trash and performing other outside tasks.
- In-store temperatures range from 36 inches to 90 inches and above in some work areas.
- Sudden changes in temperature in work area and while outside.
- Fumes from food odors.
- Exposure to commercial dust.
- Cramped quarters including walk-in cooler.
- Hot surfaces and tools from oven up to 500 degrees or higher.
- Sharp edges and moving mechanical parts.
Sensing
- Talking and hearing on telephone.
- Near and mid-range vision for most in-store tasks.

- Ability to differentiate between hot and cold surfaces.

Physical Demands
- Standing: Most tasks are performed from a standing position; walking surfaces include ceramic tile and linoleum in some food process areas; height of work surfaces generally between 36 inches and 48 inches.
- Walking: Walking is generally in short distances for short durations.
- Sitting: Paperwork is normally completed in an office at a desk or table.
- Lifting: Deliveries weigh up to 60 pounds; cases of ingredients and supplies up to 60 pounds with dimensions up to 3 feet by 1.5 feet; cases are typically lifted from the floor to shelves up to 72 inches high.
- Carrying: Large cans weighing 3 pounds 7 ounces; pizza sauce weighing 30 pounds; trays of pizza dough weighing about 12 pounds per tray; carrying from workstation to storage shelves.
- Pushing: Pushing is used to move trays on dollies; a stack of trays on a dolly is about 24 inches to 30 inches high and requires about 7.5 pounds of force to push.
- Climbing: Team members must infrequently navigate stairs or climb a ladder to change prices on signs, wash walls, or perform maintenance.
- Stooping/Bending: Forward bending at the waist is necessary at the pizza assembly station; duration can be 30 to 45 seconds at a time during the day.
- Crouching / Squatting: Performed occasionally to stock shelves and clean low areas.
- Reaching: Reaching is performed continuously; includes reaching above 72 inches to turn on or off oven controls, change prices on signs, and lift and lower objects to and from shelves; reaching down to scoop cornmeal or wash dishes; reaching forward when obtaining topping ingredients, cleaning work surfaces, or answering phones.
- Hand Tasks: Eye–hand coordination is essential; frequent use of one or both hands; shaping pizza dough, using pizza peel, rolling cutter, and assembling cardboard pizza boxes; grasping cans, the phone, the pizza cutter and the pizza peel, and pizza boxes.
Machines, Tools, Equipment, Work Aids
- Team members may be required to utilize pencils/pens, computers, telephones, calculators, TDD equipment, pizza cutter and pizza peel.
Job Duties
- Deliver product by car and then to the door of the customer.
- Deliver flyers and doorhangers or any marketing materials.
Delivery & Qualifications
- Valid Driver License with safe driving record meeting company standards.
- Access to insured vehicle which can be used for delivery.
Essential Skills
- Navigational skills to read a map, locate addresses within designated delivery area.
- Must navigate adverse terrain including multi-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites while carrying product.
Work Conditions (Delivery)
- Exposure to varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions when delivering product, driving and couponing.
- Sensing: Far vision and night vision for driving.
