We are currently seeking a Tax Principal to join our partner CPA firm in Holmdel, New Jersey . This is a unique opportunity to step into a leadership role with an established client base and a strong foundation for long-term success.

Tax Director - $250,000-$280,000

Tax Partner - $300,000-$325,000

The ideal candidate will have significant experience in both individual and entity tax , with a strong understanding of servicing diverse clients including high-net-worth individuals, professional services firms, real estate companies , and more. This role requires a leader who can manage a team, drive client engagement, and contribute to the firm's collaborative culture .

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage complex tax engagements for a diverse portfolio of clients
• Oversee and mentor a team of tax professionals
• Collaborate with firm leadership to continue building and evolving the firm's tax practice
• Maintain strong client relationships and ensure exceptional service delivery
• Contribute to the strategic growth and operational excellence of the office

Qualifications:

• CPA required
• 10+ years of progressive experience in public accounting, with a focus on both individual and entity tax
• Proven ability to lead teams, manage client relationships, and handle complex tax engagements
• Strong interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills
• This role is based out of our Holmdel, NJ office, with a hybrid work arrangement (minimum of 3 days onsite per week)
• This position is open to a lateral partner (Income Partner with future equity opportunity) or an experienced Tax Senior Manager ready to take the next step into partnership
