Role Summary

Seeking a hands-on Robotics Hardware Engineer with strong electrical and mechanical expertise. You’ll be deeply involved in designing, building, debugging, and deploying hardware subsystems that power autonomous, AI-enabled security robots.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, assemble, and test electromechanical subsystems, including sensor arrays, actuators, control boards, wiring harnesses, and structural elements.
• Troubleshoot and solve hardware integration issues—including electronics, sensors, wiring, and system-level functionality.
• Conduct hands-on fabrication, including welding and assembly of structural components.
• Ensure robust integration of robotic hardware with onboard AI modules and edge computing systems.
• Collaborate with overseas manufacturing partners—translating technical specifications, resolving production issues, and maintaining quality control.
• Deploy and maintain hardware in-field, supporting on-site troubleshooting, upgrades, and system validation.
• Analyze performance data to propose improvements in reliability, manufacturability, and design efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Mechatronics Engineering.
• 3+ years of mechanical engineering experience , specifically with robotics or complex electromechanical systems.
• Proven ability in hardware debugging and repair , including electronics, sensors, wiring, and structural components.
• Skilled in hands-on fabrication techniques , including welding and structural assembly.
• Familiarity with robotic system integration , AI-connected sensors, and edge processing modules.
• Experience working with overseas manufacturing partners —technical liaison and issue resolution.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to enable seamless collaboration across teams and locations.
