Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager / Estimator to join our team in Massachusetts. The successful candidate will report to the Preconstruction Manager and provide support to two senior estimators. This role offers a competitive salary in the range of $110,000 - $140,000.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the preconstruction team to prepare accurate and timely estimates for gas, water, sewage, and general utilities (excluding power).
  • Analyze project specifications and drawings to determine the scope of work and required contents of estimates.
  • Communicate with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive pricing.
  • Assist in the development of cost estimates and proposals for potential projects.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of estimating processes and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
  • Proven experience in estimating for utility projects.
  • Strong understanding of construction methods and materials.
  • Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office suite.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Day-to-Day:

As an Project Manager / Estimator, you will work closely with the preconstruction team to analyze project requirements, communicate with external stakeholders, and contribute to the development of accurate estimates.
