About the Role
The Company is in search of a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) with a transformational and strategic mindset to join its executive team. The CFO will be a key player in the company's cultural and financial evolution, moving from a data-rich to an insight-rich and future-ready organization. This role is not for a traditional back-office accountant but for a forward-looking financial architect who can lead the financial planning and analysis function, and partner with the C-Suite to drive the business. Key responsibilities include building and owning the FP&A discipline, translating strategy into financial insights, and leading proactive performance tracking. The CFO will also be responsible for modernizing finance systems, and processes, and ensuring operational excellence in all core finance operations.
The ideal candidate will have a background in privately held, capital-efficient industrial, agricultural, or process manufacturing businesses, with a proven track record in FP&A, business partnering, and financial transformation. They must have strong systems fluency, including experience with NetSuite, Business Central, Excel, SQL, Power BI, and cloud ERP migrations. The CFO will be expected to have high emotional intelligence, low ego, and a strategic mindset, with the ability to influence and mentor at all levels. A focus on team development, culture change, and a commitment to the company's values of accountability, transparency, and learning are essential. The role also involves capital strategy, risk management, and the evaluation of various capitalization options.
