An established, growing DG developer with 300+MW of operating assets is looking for a Director of Finance Operations to lead and optimize back office financial infrastructure. The role is central to executing construction loan closings, capital calls, covenant compliance, and fund-level reporting across a growing renewable energy portfolio.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the execution of construction-stage project loan closings across the fund portfolio, working closely with lenders, internal teams, and external counsel.
• Oversee all aspects of capital raise operations, including fund-level tracking, drawdowns, and timely investor reporting.
• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with banking partners to ensure smooth financial transactions and ongoing compliance.
• Manage covenant monitoring and reporting for 100+ active projects, ensuring all requirements are met for both funds and lenders.
• Collaborate with finance, legal, and asset management teams to support project closings and optimize capital structures.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reporting systems to track capital flows, project cash performance, and portfolio-level metrics.
• Serve as a key point of coordination during critical milestones such as capital deployments and loan closings.
• Lead initiatives to automate and integrate workflows across finance, asset management, and investor reporting functions.

Qualifications:

• 7+ years of experience in financial operations, project finance, or structured credit, ideally within a bank, energy company, or project-based investment fund.
• Expertise in construction financing, infrastructure loan structures, and back-office execution processes.
• Proven track record managing financial operations for multiple funds and navigating complex capital structures.
• Familiarity with renewable energy or solar project development preferred.
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to excel in a fast-paced, high-volume transaction environment.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with lenders, legal counsel, and cross-functional internal teams.
