ICU RN needed for a small community hospital. Nurse will provide care to critically ill patients across adolescent, adult, pediatric, and geriatric populations. Role requires strong critical care skills, ability to titrate drips, manage ventilated patients, and respond to emergencies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care in a 6-bed ICU (daily census 4–6).
- Manage patients with multi-system organ failure, CVA, cardiac conditions, respiratory failure, and post-op surgical needs.
- Perform advanced procedures including central line care, arterial line management, and CRRT/CVVHD.
- Administer and titrate vasoactive/cardiac drips, paralytics, and sedation.
- Interpret and manage dysrhythmias, ABGs, and ventilator settings.
- Float as needed to ER or Med/Surg (ratios 1:4–5 if floated).
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary support teams (Respiratory, PT, Pharmacy, Social Services, Radiology).Ax
