This role requires attention to detail, a strong sense of organization, and adherence to safety protocols while using forklifts and material handling equipment.Key Responsibilities:Receive and verify incoming materials; count and inspect for damage or discrepancies, and report any issues to appropriate personnel.Accurately record material receipts and assign bin locations in the warehouse.Pull materials per pick lists and work orders; verify part numbers and quantities, and complete documentation accordingly.Fill out packing slips per instructions and prepare orders for shipment.Consolidate, wrap, and secure materials on skids; stage materials for production or shipping.Move materials to and from work areas using forklifts, hoists, or hand equipment.Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area at all times.Detect and report faulty equipment, damaged materials, or unusual conditions to the supervisor.Perform other related duties as assigned, including basic yard and grounds maintenance and assisting with physical inventory.Requirements:High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.Must be able to read, write, and speak English to follow instructions and complete documentation.Ability to read and interpret packing slips, return authorizations, numerically sequenced labels, and warehouse receiving systems.Strong attention to detail and accuracy in counting, verifying, and recording materials.Must be able to obtain forklift certification upon hire and operate various types of lift equipment safely.Minimum of 6 months previous warehouse or material handling experience preferred.Must pass required pre-employment testing.Requires continuous mental and visual focus, as well as safe equipment operation.Physical & Environmental Expectations:Standing, walking, bendingLifting and carrying materials up to 75 lbsWork environment may include dust, sand, dirt; warm in summer and cool in winterRequired PPE includes eye and foot protection.Standard work shift: 8 hours; overtime as needed.Following receipt of a conditional offer of employment, candidates will be required to complete additional job-related screening processes as permitted or required by applicable law.We are an equal opportunity employer, and all applicants will be considered for employment without attention to their membership in any protected class.
