Job DescriptionJob Title: Green Chain Puller Urgently Hiring!Pay: $24.20/hour3 Week Training Schedule:Monday - Friday6:00AM - 2:30PMWork Schedule after Training:Monday - Thursday, 4:00AM - 2:30PMFriday, 4:00AM - 9:00AMStart Date: ASAPWe are seeking a Green Chain Puller for a Temp-Hire position with our client, a reputable lumber mill that supplies high-quality Doug Fir dimensional lumber located in Eugene, Oregon.The Green Chain Puller will play an essential role in the hands on processing of dimensional lumber. The ideal candidate will maintain an organized and safe environment while actively contributing to the efficient processing of lumber products.This is a great opportunity to be a part of a large and local milling company and further your career in this industry, located in Eugene, Oregon. As a Green Chain Puller, you will be responsible for: Pulling Lumber off conveyor belt Sorting Lumber and/or Clear Chain Ensuring that all lumber is pulled into it's designated load according to: Size Length Lumber Grade Stacking all units to correct height and width Making sure that Stickers are properly located Making sure that the re-saw and trim is properly stacked into stable units The ideal candidate for this role will have: Ability to lift 50 lbs. continually This is a Very physical job, body conditioning will be necessary!
