Job Title: Material HandlerJob DescriptionJoin our dynamic team as a Material Handler, where you will be responsible for pulling customer orders based on invoices and tickets, assisting the burn table operator, and managing large steel orders. This role involves a significant amount of physical activity, including bending, kneeling, and walking throughout the day.ResponsibilitiesPull customer orders accurately using invoices and tickets.Assist the burn table operator in pulling products for orders.Reorganize material in 'monkey racks' to ensure efficient stock management.Utilize large cranes to move substantial steel orders safely.Implement the company's color system to organize raw materials based on steel thickness.Load and unload trucks, assisting customers who pick up their orders.Communicate with management to prioritize daily tasks and ensure customer service is the top priority.Essential SkillsExperience in warehouse operations, picking, and material handling.Proficient in using tape measures, forklifts, and overhead cranes.General labor and machine operation experience.Additional Skills & QualificationsPreferred experience with micrometers and calipers.Valid driver's license.Ability to distinguish all colors.Capability to lift 50 lbs.1+ years of labor-intensive work experience such as carpentry, construction, or mechanical work.2+ years of longevity in previous positions.Experience in military, building maintenance, or handling product variations is a plus.Why Work Here?Enjoy the opportunity to be trained on overhead crane operations, a valuable and marketable skill.
