Quanex is looking for an Inventory Control Analyst position to join our team (onsite) in Allentown, PA.This position is responsible for monitoring warehouse inventory and performing cycle counting duties to ensure that all products are properly verified to be correct compared to the on-hand quantities in the ERP system.We Offer You! Monitor inventory for shipping area; boxes, dividers, wrapping, banding, etc.Confirms inbound material shipments are checked in with Oracle and verified with Pack Slip.Completes daily work orders to turn coil into RAW Screen Frame.Maintains cycle count schedule.Maintains correct inventory tables/labels where the inventory is being stored.Responsible for reporting defects and unusable product in a timely manner to ensure a timely replacement.Ordering non-inventory materials; Materials necessary to build screens but not tracked.Sets up LTL shipments and validates shipments prior to leaving facility.Reviews daily report from purchasing to confirm materials running low and or error in on hands.What You Bring: High school education or equivalent.At least 3 years of related warehouse, inventory or cycle count experience.6 months forklift experience; ability to pass OSHA required practical and written examsStrong organizational skills, with emphasis to details.The hourly wage for this position is $21.50 per hour.
