Job DetailsJob LocationWesselman - Cincinnati, OHSalary Range$20.50 - $20.50 HourlyDescriptionHours: Monday-Thursday 2:45PM - 12 AM, and Fridays 2:45PM - 7:45 PMJob Summary: The Material Handler is responsible for ensuring that the correct material is pulled and labeled for job orders and that material returns are collected from production work centers and processed throughout the day. Additionally, the material handler is responsible for inventory accuracy, organization and traceability related to raw materials.Job Duties and Responsibilities: Pull material as listed on the Job Order Bill of Material (BOM).Tag properly in accordance with Sur-Seal ISO standardPull proper quantityEnsure traceability of the material is accurately recorded on BOMEnsure rotation of inventory follows the first in/first out processStage material in the proper cage or floor spaceRaw material should not sit directly on the floor.Staged material is the responsibility of the Material Handler until job startsCollect and process returned material with proper traceabilityEnsure material is properly stored to prevent damageLocate material to designated material zoneRelocate overflow material from the small building to the main warehouse shelves as neededDaily cycle counts as determined by the Material Coordinator or Team LeaderKeep material aisles clean and free of trash and debrisKeep material racks organized and neat with tags visible Maintain organization and cleanliness of the small building warehouseAssist in other areas when necessary or requestedKnowledge/Skills:Ability to operate material handling equipmentAccuracy, organization, detailed orientedAbility to effectively communicate with all departments in the companyAbility to work independently and in team environment to meet daily goalsAbility to consistently lift 50lbsEEOC StatementSur-Seal is an equal opportunity employer and we value diversity.
