Shipping & Receiving Clerk
A fast-paced production and distribution company is seeking a highly motivated Shipping & Receiving Clerk to support daily operations. This position plays a critical role in managing inbound and outbound shipments, inventory control, and supplemental production work. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and thrives in a physically active role.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and count incoming stock for damage or discrepancies
- Log and track inventory in the company's system by purchase order and ship date
- Process shipments and returns via UPS/FedEx and freight carriers
- Coordinate with vendors and internal operations to ensure timely delivery and receipt
- Package and kit parts accurately for outgoing shipments based on sales orders
- Track return merchandise authorizations (RMAs) and defective product resolutions
- Ensure warehouse is clean and organized using 5S methodology or similar
- Support monthly and annual physical inventory counts
- Assist with production support tasks including baseline assembly work
- Maintain open communication with facility management and operations team
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in shipping, receiving, inventory, and customer service
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and accounting software (Sage or QuickBooks)
- Ability to routinely lift up to 50 lbs and operate a forklift (certification required)
- Must possess valid driver's license and pass drug/background checks
- Strong time management, organizational, and communication skills
- Comfortable working independently in a dynamic environment
- Must be adaptable, reliable, and highly results-oriented

Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $18.00 - $19.00
