Position Summary
We are seeking a Finance Manager to join our team in Brook Park, OH.
The Finance Manager at Credit First National Association (CFNA) will oversee financial planning, forecasting, management reporting, and overall financial analysis. The role involves collaboration with the Finance teams at CFNA and Bridgestone Americas in Nashville, as well as cross-functional teams within CFNA. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in financial management, customer and product profitability, and banking operations. The position reports directly to the CFNA Executive Director of Finance, Risk, & Compliance.
This is a HYBRID role, requiring in-office presence on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday at CFNA in Brook Park, OH.
Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance forecasting and reporting frameworks to provide insights into business performance and recommend corrective actions.
- Drive financial performance by analyzing areas of strength and opportunities for improvement, including credit card sales, investments, regulatory compliance, and expenses.
- Create short-term and long-term financial forecast models and communicate findings to leadership.
- Collaborate with leadership on key issues affecting the business, such as fraud, loan losses, credit sales, and product expansion, acting as a strategic partner.
- Support the finance and accounting team in ensuring an efficient, accurate, and transparent close process, leveraging banking expertise.
- Generate insights and analyses for presentation at executive levels, including the board of directors and BSAM leadership, highlighting key findings, risks, and opportunities.
- Promote continuous improvement in finance operations, encouraging cross-training and engagement within the finance team.
- Implement process improvements in accounting and contribute to special projects.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting; MBA preferred.
- At least 6 years of experience in financial analysis, accounting, budgeting, and management reporting, with demonstrated leadership.
- Deep knowledge of accounting principles and banking regulations.
- Strong analytical skills and financial modeling capabilities.
- Proven leadership, influencing, and decision-making skills.
- Experience in financial services, with a preference for consumer credit.
- Strategic thinker with industry knowledge to guide profitable growth.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams within finance, risk, marketing, operations, and analytics in a lending environment.
