This position requires a Senior Software Engineer to be part of a cross-functional team developing hardware and software in support of DoD UAS operations. The role involves software development processes, programming, and knowledge of Agile development and continuous integration. Responsibilities include interfacing with customers, assisting with software requirements, creating design artifacts, developing and documenting code, and creating software unit and system tests. The engineer will develop software interfaces, use functional analysis and Model-based Systems Engineering (MBSE) processes to develop interface control documentation, and collaborate with internal and external teams to support quality design product delivery. Additional tasks include maintaining awareness of subsystem interdependencies, supporting the development and approval of ICDs, incorporating cross-IPT feedback, and producing various software artifacts such as development plans, design documents, and configuration management plans. UML diagram creation is also required. Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, engineering, or related STEM field, or equivalent experience. 9+ years of experience. Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance. Willingness to travel up to 25%. Strong written and oral communication skills. Experience producing software artifacts, deriving requirements, developing use cases and user stories. Ability to create UML diagrams (class, sequence, activity, component, data flow) using tools like Magic Draw. Excellent coding skills in C/C++ and Java, with strong object-oriented design knowledge. Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Agile methodologies and tools like JIRA. Experience in proposal work and modeling tools like Magic Draw. Knowledge of client-server architectures, TCP/UDP traffic debugging, and middleware (JMS, DDS, Kafka). Familiarity with UAS systems, ground control station architectures, and standards like STANAG 4586, FACE, MOSA, OMS, and UCS. Core Values
