Job Title: Radiation Therapist
Location: Various Locations (Open to all states)
Shift: 7:30 AM - 6:30 PM
Contract Duration: 91 Weeks
Job Description:
We are seeking dedicated and experienced Radiation Therapists to join our healthcare teams across multiple locations. As a vital member of the oncology care team, you will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality radiation therapy to patients. Your expertise will be crucial in delivering safe and effective radiation treatment while ensuring patient comfort and care throughout the process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer radiation therapy to cancer patients according to physician prescriptions.
- Collaborate with the oncology team to ensure optimal patient care.
- Maintain accurate records of patient treatments and evaluations.
- Utilize advanced radiation technology and techniques in treatment delivery.
- Participate in patient education and provide support during treatment.
- Adhere to all safety and compliance standards in radiation therapy.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 24 months of current experience as a Radiation Therapist is required.
- Active certification from the ARRT and BLS (American Heart Association) is mandatory.
- Ability to work flexible schedules and adapt to various shifts as needed.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Compliance Requirements:
- Candidates with an Arizona home address on their driver's license will not be considered.
- Must have no license hits and adhere to background requirements.
- Flu vaccination status must be included; declinations can be applied for.
Submission Requirements:
- Completed cover page with all required information.
- Updated resume detailing facilities worked at, including facility size, number of beds, trauma level, and units.
- Skills checklist specific to the discipline (must be less than one year old).
- Active state license (verification must be less than 30 days old).
- Certifications must be active upon submission.
*Please note: All candidates submitted must be pre-closed, and ready to accept assignments. Requests for time off (RTO) must be less than 7 days and will not be approved within the first week or during holidays.*
