Position Overview:
Provide dental services to prisoners at assigned correctional facilities and other dental clinics, including diagnosis, operative/restorative, surgical (including extractions), endodontic, and prosthetic treatments.
Document and record patient treatment information to ensure performance compliance with the Facilities Dental Program guidelines.
Maintain the operational modalities of the facility Dental Clinic in accordance with MDOC standards.
Qualifications:
Possession of a Doctorate of Dental Surgery or Doctorate of Medical Dentistry degree.
Michigan licensure as a dentist.
Possession of Controlled Substance and U.S.D.E.A Registration is preferred.
This is a test-designated position located 100% within the secure perimeter of a correctional facility.
Additional Information:
The pay range includes a 20% critical pay increase for classified Dentists.
No specific experience required; equivalent education and experience will be evaluated.
Applicants must have no felony convictions or pending felony charges.
