Responsibilities: • Meet with customers to understand what they want and make suggestions • Get surfaces ready to be painted by sanding away old paint and filling holes and cracks with putty • Cover trim, fixtures, furniture, and floors to protect them from paint • Treat painted surfaces with primer or sealer • Assemble scaffolding when required • Protect trim, floors, fixtures, and furniture from paint using drop cloths and covers • Repair small drywall patches • Maintain a neat and tidy work area Qualifications: • Applicants that are detail-oriented and possess strong time management and communications are preferred • Stamina, standing for long periods of time, dexterity, and physical strength is required • We prefer if you have a high school diploma or GED • Valid driver’s license required • Experience with painting tools and techniques is a big plus, but we are willing to train on the job for motivated candidates •

Must live within 50 miles of Auburn Hills, Michigan, to be considered for this position

• Minimum 1-2 years of professional painting experience (residential and/or commercial preferred) • Strong knowledge of painting techniques, surface preparation, and proper use of brushes, rollers, and sprayers • Ability to safely operate hand and power tools, ladders, and scaffolding • Experience with drywall patching, sanding, caulking, taping, and priming surfaces • Understanding of different paint types and finishes, including interior/exterior applications • Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship • Ability to follow job site safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE • Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in various conditions • Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines • Ability to work independently or as part of a team • Strong communication skills and professionalism when interacting with clients and coworkers • Willingness to work a consistent full-time schedule year-round Compensation: $38,000 - $52,000 yearly
