Hybrid Schedule: 3 days onsite/2 days remote (Charlotte, NC)
We are seeking a Strategic Sourcing Specialist II with strong negotiation skills, a business-oriented mindset, and a passion for driving results. This role is part of a dynamic team focused on executing and maintaining our global supply base, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and integrity in supplier contract management systems. You will play a key role in supporting and leading initiatives aligned with our Global Strategic Sourcing Annual Operating Plan.
Key Responsibilities
Commodity Management
• Lead commodity strategy development and supplier negotiations
• Manage NDAs: draft, obtain signatures, and upload to systems
• Collaborate with Legal and Contracts teams to draft and process Unilateral Letters, Novations, Assignments, and Assumptions
• Review contract amendments for accuracy and compliance
Compliance & Documentation
• Prepare and submit compliance packages, including:
o Extended Terms Requests (ETRs)
o Supplier scorecards and FAIRS
o SAP updates (e.g., pricing, minimum order quantities, VMI validation)
o Fair and Reasonable Price Justifications (FRPJ)
RFQ & Master Data Management
• Coordinate RFQ packages and distribute drawings
• Manage vendor and material master data changes
• Analyze part demand and historical receipts
• Upload and maintain documents in contract management tools
Cost & Platform Analysis
• Initiate Should Cost Estimates (SCE)
• Retrieve platform details from designated systems
• Resolve PO and Supplier Portal issues, submitting corrections as needed
• Support and analyze CID and BAA content
Qualifications & Preferred Experience
We Value:
• Proven experience in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management
• Strong project and contract management skills
• Professional certifications (e.g., PMP, CPSM, CPIM)
• Business acumen and a continuous improvement mindset
• Proficiency in SAP, ERP systems, e-sourcing platforms, RFQ tools, and Microsoft Office Suite
• Familiarity with Six Sigma and Lean methodologies
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field
